Rabobank: Away with the disposable glove

Thijs Groenen and Matz van Noesel from Oisterwijk have a dream. They are going to fight the conventional disposable glove. And the founders of Gloovy Eco Gloves want to decide that fight in their favor within five years. Their weapon? The first fully circular disposable glove in Europe.

Thijs and Matz have even set up a recycling chain, complete with handy (cardboard) collection bins. An important partner in this is PreZero, a large waste processor and an important, well-known player in the sector.

Cleaning companies CSU, Asito and Gom join forces: significantly lower CO₂ emissions through sustainable gloves

December 20, 2023– Three major national cleaning companies CSU, Asito and Gom are jointly switching to sustainable gloves as an alternative to the standard nitrile disposable glove. The new gloves, the Gloovy Eco Gloves, are produced in a more environmentally friendly way and are recyclable. As a result, the three companies will jointly save a total of approximately 1,600 tons of CO₂ emissions per year. Together, they are calling on other cleaning companies to also opt for more sustainable gloves.
