Rabobank: Weg met de wegwerphandschoen

Thijs Groenen en Matz van Noesel uit Oisterwijk hebben een droom. Ze gaan de strijd aan met de conventionele wegwerphandschoen. En die strijd willen de oprichters van Gloovy Eco Gloves binnen vijf jaar in hun voordeel beslissen. Hun wapen? De eerste volledig circulaire wegwerphandschoen in Europa.

Thijs en Matz hebben zelfs al een recycleketen ingericht, compleet met handzame (kartonnen) inzamelbakken. Een belangrijke partner hierin is PreZero, een grote afvalverwerker en een belangrijke, bekende speler in de branche.

Cleaning companies CSU, Asito and Gom join forces: significantly lower CO₂ emissions through sustainable gloves

December 20, 2023– Three major national cleaning companies CSU, Asito and Gom are jointly switching to sustainable gloves as an alternative to the standard nitrile disposable glove. The new gloves, the Gloovy Eco Gloves, are produced in a more environmentally friendly way and are recyclable. As a result, the three companies will jointly save a total of approximately 1,600 tons of CO₂ emissions per year. Together, they are calling on other cleaning companies to also opt for more sustainable gloves.
